Users can now access a series of modernization reports designed to streamline cost management, improve resource utilization, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities across their cloud environments.
1. IaaS Modernization Report
The IaaS Modernization Report provides insights into virtual machine (VM) processor optimization and SKU version changes, along with cost-saving recommendations and resource usage analysis.
1.1 VM Processor Optimization Report
This report provides actionable insights into current and recommended costs, potential savings, and resource allocation guidance based on historical usage patterns. It helps users identify opportunities to optimize VM processor resources and improve cost efficiency.
1.2 SKU Version Change Report
This report helps users understand virtual machine upgrade paths, including SKU version recommendations and their associated cost implications. It supports informed decisions about resource upgrades and cloud infrastructure optimization.
2. Application Modernization Report
2.1 Migrate Applications from VM to App Service or Container
This report provides a detailed breakdown of application migration considerations when moving workloads from virtual machines to Azure App Service or container-based solutions. It focuses on cost implications, deployment complexity, scalability, and maintenance considerations.
