This section explains the new feature that has added to the CloudRecon portal.
Previously, only three pricing models were available for CloudRecon - Pay as You Go, 3-Year Reserved Instance, and 1-Year Reserved Instance. Two new pricing models have been added to the CloudRecon Portal. Users can now opt for two new pricing models - a 3-year saving plan, and a 1-year saving plan. These two plans help reduce the compute cost and are lower-priced when compared to the Pay as You Go pricing model.
To access these new plans, you must follow these steps:
Step 1: In the left panel of CloudRecon dashboard, click on the 'Lift & Shift (IaaS)' submenu under Cloud Migration side menu.
Step 2: In this menu, you can see the new pricing models, as shown in the figure below.
Step 3: To access and apply these pricing models to your inventory, you must select the preferences, as shown in the figure below
Step 4: After you've applied the filters in the figure above, your 3 year Saving Plan and 1 year Saving plan costs will be updated.
Step 5: Click on the 'Virtual Machine' Tab on the Lift and Shift (IaaS) submenu to access the compute costs and storage costs for the plan of your choice, as shown in the figure below.
